Biography 

Imran Khan Niazi (Pathan)Imran Khan Niazi is the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, serving since August 2018. Prior to his political career, he was a renowned cricketer, leading the Pakistan national cricket team to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup.

Born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan, Imran Khan comes from a family of Pashtun origin. After completing his education in Pakistan and the United Kingdom, he started his cricket career in the 1970s. He quickly rose to fame and became a household name in Pakistan.

Political career 

In 1996, Imran Khan founded the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with the aim of creating a corruption-free Pakistan. He ran unsuccessfully in several elections before winning the general election in 2018.

As Prime Minister, Imran Khan has focused on addressing corruption, poverty, and improving the economy.
